Clueless, Clueless, Clueless!
This hits home! Do we really know Jesus? Do I really know him? Do I?
Can we confess Jesus Christ with conviction and purpose or are we passive and missing the true interpretation of what it all means? All the stuff that clutters a church service or I call it, "missing the mark in worship." If you can see me praising God during worship I'm asking myself why? I surely missed you watching me.
Of course I've witnessed others freely moving in the current of grace - I would often find myself watching others while I missed out on expressing my praise. I got inspired and told myself I would no longer worship the lights, the drummer, the craze for Relevance to the culture through trends and fads which change like stop lights......red, green, yellow!
If we prostitute our worship outside the fellowship of believers, when we gather together to worship inside the community of believers it becomes almost impossible to freely express praise because your allegiance is not with Christ but with the world. In spirit you long for freedom to worship but in real time you are enslaved by the cruel and debilitating force which constricts and mutilates your praise. Have you permitted yourself to become a lover of the world seduced into slumber and false worship? Any solutions?

I think this hits it right on the nail PA. Glad to see that you're back 'n blogging!!! I know that same feeling of watching the others praise and worship while I sat back in my seat wishing I could be like them... it's such a helpless feeling and so confusing!
People need to understand that if you don't give your all to God outside of church, you can never fully give yourself to him inside... they love the world too much. You cannot be in the world and with God at the same time. It doesn't work.
