Is Purity for today?

The media is brainwashing the generation with a barrage of Sexual stimulus. The music industry is aggressively promoting an anti-Christ message with strong Sexual marketing. Parents do you examine your children's music? Are you willing to set an anti-Satan stance to reject the anti-Christ music being played in your home?

The family in America is being devored by divorce and as a result more and more youth are left to raise themselves with little or no supervision or sustained physical and emotional contact with a Godly role model. Where do we turn for help when absent parents assume their children are perfect little flowers but yet the facts state otherwise?

How are youth to find their way when they witness dysfunction at home. How are youth to find their way when they are rejected by the hospital because they do not have life insurance. How will the youth practice purity when all day long they feed their lusts either intentionally or unintentionally with the saturation of sensuality flowing through the media and music industry. How do we promote purity when parents embrace casual sex. How do we promote purity when parents give their children condoms as if they were candy. I'm asking how because the how is in God and as long as we as a community dance around obedience and submission - reform is a strange land away.

Purity permeates or leaps from the scriptures nearly from every page. What does exposure to sensuality and worldliness attack? Our affinity to seek God through quality and intimate time by reading the Holy Scriptures. Purity is not diluted. Casual exposure to the world and ungoliness will dilute the word of God in your life. Purity is the quality in the believer of not being diluted.

What does worldliness attack? Our mind. We need to guard our mind gate: which consists of your ears, eyes, and mouth! Our minds need a daily redemptive cleansing. In 2 Peter 3:1 Peter states; (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder). The word pure here literally means "tested by sunlight." The light of the scriptures exposes our flaws. If we stay away from the sunlight we can easily convince ourselves that we are o.k. The word pure describes metals with alloys and liquids unadulterated with foreign substances. God calls you to live free from falsehood. Be pure, and without hidden motives.

Shallowness

Shallowness is shallow just as death is dark and permanent. The secular and dark culture engulfs the vulnerable, the weak, the influenceable souls who are empty and thirsty for God but refuse to run to God because they rather eat their own vomit. The war rages and the light exposes the darkness. Are you holding on to your desire to disobey God?

Do you cling to rebellion by forcing your mind not to acknowledge the truth as found in Christ Jesus. How long will rebellion love its double mindedness? Do you clap in church and shake your rear end for cheap thrills and are engulfed in your sensual thrills. Do you pray to erase the games you play with dirty little boys with dirty little toys. Do you tease boys and play mommies little innocent girl. Are you a young man who tempts little girls by luring them into dark corners, how long will struggle endure? My heart breaks. The sad part, God longs to save this lost generation. Yet, this generation might be lost because they like resisting God and mocking Him to his face.

Trusting God

Trusting God only depends on your ability to trust Him. He is trustworthy can you believe that? If you believe that believe that, He is trustworthy. I trust God for real, do you? Do you really believe in God's promise? His promises are true. Do you believe God is true? When we look to God He alone is able to deliver us from all of our fears. God is the only one who can save us from all of our troubles. Are you willing to cry to God for help? When you cry to God He is moved to help you. Cry out to God and He will send help. (Psalm 34).

THE F WORD

What word do you have in mind? Faith? Fear? The "F" word I have in mind is Failure.

I'm writing today to let you know that you're not a failure. You're really not a failure unless you believe you're a failure. Often times we think failure is the end of the story. In God's kingdom failures are turned into triumphs if you allow faith to move you forward!

Do you suffer from fear of failure? I don't! I can't fail. Let me explain, as long as I believe God and obey God, I can't fail. Even if I fail, I still can't fail, because my future is ahead of me not behind me and my future is not even in the present moment. There will always be momentary set backs but that does not make you a failure.

Failure for me has always marked new beginnings. If you fail the test at school you'll have a new tomorrow to study for the next test. How often do we invest our identity in trying to become what the whole world wants us to become and we never discover who God has already made us in Christ.

The sooner you stop trying to please everyone the sooner you'll be able to please God. it is simple! God has never failed nor will He ever fail. Failure is trying to please people! You will fail 99.9% of the time when you try to please other people. People pleasers are failures because they fail to please God.

In God's own special way of treating His precious children success requires a willingness to yield to God's will, which sometimes means falling short as we discover the journey ahead.

Never write yourself off. People pleasers are easily written off because their confidence and assurance comes from others and not God alone. If God alone becomes your source of success then nothing you do will fail because it has God's approval and sponsorship.

Faith is the "F" word that eliminates "Failure". Place your confidence in God and all your failures will end in triumph

Friday was a prelude into this Friday's "Love is" service! I'm expecting the tangible presence of God. That means we all experience God's presence in an intimate way through faith. I know worship will be sweet. I'm expecting it! An important aspect of faith is our expectation level. What are we expecting from God? What do you expect from God?
I try to expect what God tells me to expect through the Holy Scriptures. The promises of God are free through faith in Jesus Christ. But without faith it is impossible to really expect God to assist you. Expectation is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. You can command your future in the present through faith. You hope for what you do not see but the evidence will be your faith carrying you into the future evidence of the things not yet seen.

The choice is yours. Pleasing God is choice by choice. Sometimes we make the right choice sometimes we make the wrong choice but it always boils down to choice. Choosing is choice and choice is freewill. We can either choose God or refuse God. The choice is ours. What choice will you make today over and over? The right choice or the wrong choice? The choice is yours.

But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7)
I'm so happy the Lord does not see as man sees. Man often looks at the outward appearance. The Lord looks at the heart. So what man approves in appearance on the outside God could easily refuse. It is a great relief that my heart is open before God and he really knows my heart. I present my heart to God. My heart is open. Have you asked God to search you?

You have looked deep into my heart, LORD, and you know all about me. ²You know when I am resting or when I am working, and from heaven you discover my thoughts. ³You notice everything I do and everywhere I go. ⁴Before I even speak a word, you know what I will say, (Psalm 139:1-4 CEV)

Live today in the sight of God. God knows all about you and has accepted us because we are made right with Him through Jesus Christ's death.

My friends, God has made us these promises. So we should stay away from everything that keeps our bodies and spirits from being clean. We should honor God and try to be completely like him. (2 Corinthians 7:1 CEV)

"God is not unfair!"

How often do we place God into a box while attempting to characterize His attributes. If I were to be honest with myself majority of the youth are numb spiritually. Am I numb spiritually? It's hard to go from zero spirituality for some to a disciplined nightly expectation devoted to becoming a learner of Christ. This is not homework, nor intended to be a list of expectations. I'm speaking of the Fire Institute in case your wondering.

I'm wondering if your reading this? If not then I'll go on the record and say perhaps God wants to shake us from our comfort with complacency and intimacy with the world. "Cultural Holiness" won't cut it. You know, acting like the church but not really acting like Christ. Talking the Christian dialect but not really making sense or understanding what your saying. All that is good but it's not enough.

2010 will stretch most of us by design. Sadly, many of our youth have never opened a bible on their own. These are church kids. I take full responsibility.

Where are the parent's in this equation? If the parent's fail to model Holiness how can I expect the youth to be Holy. Or is Holiness even alive?I have been called to holiness so I can call the youth to Holiness and I have and will continue to do so. It is not enough for the youth to mimic what they see and call this Holiness. It is normal to adapt to the character and behavior patterns of other Christians around us but this is not enough.

This is why friendship with the world is hatred with God. Friendship with the world is a life of mimicry. In this season of trial we cannot afford to disobey God's explicit instructions. What I am crying out against can be summed up by Bridges when he states, "We become so accustomed to our sins we sometimes lapse into a state of peaceful coexistence with them, but God hates all these things."

Fire Institute was not introduced to heap more work upon you. It is not a heavy load to bear if your already taking up your cross daily. The load you might be feeling initially could possibly be the weight of the cross you have finally picked up. Keep in mind Jesus' yoke is light. Perhaps a few were jolted back to reality, if this is the case I'm refreshed. Love PA

What will you do when you are asked not to speak in the name of "Jesus Christ?" So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus (Acts 4:18). The day is upon us. It is already here. Do you discern the time? Are you willing to speak the name of Jesus despite threats of prosecution, violence and persecution?

What will you do when your asked not to teach in the name of Jesus? Who's name will you teach in? And they agreed with him, and when they had called for the apostles and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go (Acts 5:40).

If your commanded not to speak in the name of Jesus, will you listen? If you do not confess Jesus Christ before man you are denying Him before man. If you deny Him God will deny you. When you speak the name of Jesus Christ in the face of mockery, shame, threats, abandonment, rejection, and prosecution you are saying, "God I trust you as my God and deliverer and you are indeed God," mere man are men and not god. Speak with the boldness that comes with time in the Holy Scriptures and prayer. Speak the name of Jesus Christ even if it hurts.

Two Contrasts

I was at the park this morning and I saw a butterfly and the words freedom came to my mind. God's grace allows us to be as free as a butterfly carried by the wind of His spirit. Be free and soar above the world.

This song is dedicated to my true troops who know grace and are fighting in the war. Let grace free you from warring against the flesh. Our fight is not against flesh and blood. Take position.

Do they get it?

Do they get it? Who are they that they should get it? If they get it then they would have it. Do they have it, or don't they. Aimless. I have a notion that what we see is not what we get. In other words, the fluff and stuff will vanish. There are so many types and models and theories about what works. What is God saying works. Soon all of the idols we have looked upon will crumble. Not literally but actually in a literal sense.

Do we really seek God or a feeling? Do we feel God or have we moved passed feeling? Do we breathe God or are we dull of seeing, breathing and heeding? We need God desperately. The doctrines of the faith are being dismantled at the notion of "Self enlightenment" and disillusionment. Are we disillusioned. Have we created our own Holy Spirit that is no spirit but a method? A type a set predictable pattern? Where is the power, the signs, the wonders or are we supposed to manufacture this as well?

Prayer is fading, the pace of life is quickly racing and time is wasted by time chasers. Denial is deadly. Don't deny your lack of faith, believe your lack of faith for then you can see the need to believe in your belief in Christ.

If you do not understand my thought, read my thought but think it through don't read it as a thought regarding you.

Do we get it? Who is we that we should get it? If we have it then why don't we use it? Faith is the substance we hope for but because we lack it the evidence is not seen.

2. What do you think about Jesus?

You must decide for yourself. You will either live with your decision or die with your decision.

1. Jesus is Human

Our supreme example as God in Human form. This outrages the world.
